The 2025 Bika Bya Baganda Netball Championship successfully witnessed the first phase completed with the gruelling group and quarter final stages at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole.
Initially, the twenty clans that registered were pooled in four groups on Friday, 25th April 2025.
During the following day, the group stages were played with the official opening ceremony was graced by Owek Ssaalongo Robert Serwanga, the Buganda Kingdom minister of youth, sports and arts.
Owek. Serwanga was also joined by minister Cotilda Nakate and Sarah Nkonge Deputy Ebika bya Baganda, chairperson in charge of Netball, among others.
The group stages were completed on Sunday, 27th April 2025 and the quarter finals also played on the same day.
The four standing clans at the semi-finals include Mamba Namakaka, Ngonge, Mbwa and Ngeye.
The match-up at the last four stage has Mbwa pitted against Ngeye and Mamba Namakaka facing Ngonge.

The semi-finals and finals will be played on Saturday, 3rd May 2025 at the Mutesa II Wankulukuku stadium.
On the same day, the men football tournament will officially be opened between Ngabi Nyunga and Akasimba.
