BUL FC put up a blistering performance to dispatch Lugazi FC on Tuesday at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.
The Eastern Giants were in ruthless form, registering a 4-0 win in a one-sided affair.
Veteran striker Abdu Karim Ndugwa orchestrated the damage, bagging a brace while Ibrahim Orit and Hillary Onek added a goal each.
Ndugwa set the tone, breaking the deadlock in the 27th minute, tapping home from close range when Reagan Kalyowa teed him up.
Four minutes after recess, Ndugwa scored his second of the day. Lugazi FC were caught napping when Swabir Mpasa delivered from a free kick and Ndugwa was well stationed to head into the back of the net with relative ease.
Orit stretched the lead for BUL FC, a minute after the hour mark with a sole effort. He dazzled through the Lugazi backline before firing a ferocious strike.
Onek put the icing on the cake in the 69th minute, tapping home from the rebound after goalkeeper Juma Mutebi had saved the initial effort from Kalyowa.
The result means BUL FC remain third on 49 points while Lugazi FC stay put in 11th on 31 points.
