Uganda Premier League side Calvary is close to completing the acquisition of Jimmy Kintu Mwera as their head coach.
The newly promoted side has tabled a two-year employment contract to Kintu, who is currently with St Noa Girls.
Kintu recently guided St Noa to an unbeaten campaign in the FUFA Women’s Super League. St Noa secured 11 victories, drew twice, and conceded only once throughout the season.
His passion for total football has shaped a distinctive image and style of play for the teams he has coached.
Kintu has also coached Uganda Christian University and been part of Kyaggwe’s technical team in the Buganda Masaza Cup.
If the deal materialises, Kintu will be up for a big task as he takes up his first top-tier job ahead of the upcoming 2025/24 campaign.
