Uganda Cranes midfielder Taddeo Lwanga’s return to the Uganda Premier League side Vipers SC looms near.
Reports indicate that the lanky midfielder is in advanced talks with league champions ahead of a possible return.
Lwanga has been training with the Kitende-based side since parting ways with the Rwandan side APR FC, where he spent the previous two seasons.
Ahead of continental football, Vipers will gain experience and leadership if they successfully complete the acquisition of Lwanga.
Lwanga played for the Vipers for two seasons, and his name will always be remembered by the fans and the team.
After a strong performance in the 2019 AFCON campaign, he joined Egyptian club Tanta SC before moving to Simba SC in Tanzania. He later transferred to Arta Solar7 in Djibouti before joining APR in Rwanda.
