Uganda Premier League side Vipers SC has confirmed the return of Taddeo Lwanga.
Lwanga joins the Kitende-based side on a one-year employment contract with an option to extend.
The announcement was confirmed via the club’s official website today, Thursday, August 7, 2025.
“After six years of globetrotting and conquering top-flight leagues across Africa, Taddeo Lwanga is back at Kitende,” the statement partly reads.
Lwanga joins Vipers as a free agent after running down his two-year employment contract with Rwadan side APR FC.
The former captain returns at a moment when Vipers is preparing for a big assignment of representing Uganda in the CAF Champions League.
He becomes Vipers’ fifth signing following the arrival of Enock Ssebagala, Odili Chukwuma, Mark Yallah and Dasylva Bady.
