The Office of the Academic Registrar at Makerere University has extended the deadline for students wishing to apply for a change of programmes or subjects for the 2025/2026 academic year.
Originally set for Tuesday, 12th August 2025, the deadline has now been pushed to Friday, 15th August 2025, according to a notice issued by Prof. Buyinza Mukadasi, Academic Registrar.
The extension applies only to new applicants — those who have already submitted requests do not need to reapply.
The Registrar also advised students to ensure they meet the admission requirements and cut-off points for their desired programmes before submitting applications.
