Uganda Premier League side Vipers SC has announced three international friendlies.
In line with key preseason examination, Vipers is set to face Gorilla in a double header before taking on Azam as they further prepare for the CAF Champions League.
The development was confirmed via the club’s official website today Wednesday, August 8, 2025.
“As the 2025/26 football season approaches, Vipers SC are ramping up their preparations with a series of high-profile pre-season friendlies designed to test squad’s readiness,” the statement partly reads.
Vipers will take on Rwanda’s Gorilla FC scheduled for Tuesday, August 19 and Thursday, August 21 at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.
Following the double header, Vipers will lock horns with Tanzanian Giants Azam FC on Friday, August 29 at the Kigali Pele Stadium.
The three games will act as a curtain raiser before Vipers embark on the CECAFA Kagame Cup scheduled for September 2 to 15.
