Overview:
Beach volleyball aside, the games at the 2025 FEASSA games also have beach soccer, Volleyball, handball, basketball, netball, rugby, hockey, athletics, table tennis, badminton, tennis, swimming, goalball (SNE games), chess, scrabble, soccer, beach soccer, lacrosse, DanceSport and cricket.
Hilton High School Mukono is one of Uganda’s representatives in beach volleyball at the on-going FEASSA Games 2025 in Kakamega county, Western Kenya.
The team is constituted of four players; Abdul Hakim Kamanyire (S6), Godwin Seth Wamini (S5), Francis Odongkara (S4) and Denis Rubangakene (S5) under the guidance of vastly experienced coach Johnson Kawenyera.

“We are set for the best performance at the FEASSA Games. The courts have been set and my players are ready to give the best of their abilities. We want to write a statement of intent at these games” Kawenyera, a former left-handed offensive player remarked.
The beach volleyball games are expected to be played on the courts at the Rehabilitation playground, opposite Masinde Muliiro University of Science and Technology in Kakamega.

Beach volleyball makes a majestic debut at the FEASSA Games, alongside DanceSport Lacrosse and Cricket.
Hilton High School Mukono were runners up at the 2025 USSSA Ball Games 2 hosted in Tororo.
Champions Bukedea Comprehensive School are also expected to present a solid team.

The official opening ceremony was held at the Bukhungu international stadium on the afternoon of Friday, 15th August 2025 before thousands of spectators.
Dr. Julius Migos Ogamba, the Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Education in Kenya represented the president H.E William Kipchirchir Samoei Arap Ruto at the grand opening.
These games will run until the 22nd August 2025.
Uganda is the overall defending champions from the last games hosted in Bukedea district, Eastern Uganda in 2024.
