Uganda’s basketball ambassadors St Cyprian High School Kyabakadde have continued to post impressive performances and results at the 2025 FEASSA Games in Kakamega county, Western Kenya.
The Mukono zone-based school attained their second victory of the campaign during the 22nd edition of the East African Secondary School Games.
St Cyprian High School Kyabakadde over-powered Rwanda’s Marie Reine Muhanga 77-59 for the second win in three games.
Ichut Agok Ring and Lueth Maker Nyok led the scoring business with 22 and 18 points respectively.
Joseph Ngaya, James Mading and Hamuli Mustafa also impressed in the game.
Juru Ntigurirwa and Eric Benimana were the stand out players for Marie Reine Muhanga.
On Saturday, St Cyprian High School Kyabakadde won 68-38 over Kibuli S.S, having opened with a five-point defeat to Kenya’s Lukenya High School on Thursday.
“The victory gives us the momentum going forward to the rest of the matches” John Omondi, head coach of St Cyprian High School Kyabakadde noted.

Kyabakadde is yet to face Tanzania’s Juhudi SS and Kenyan opposition, Laiser Hill Academy.
Action continues on Monday, 18th August 2025 and through the rest of the week at the Police Canteen and Kakamega High School courts.
Besides the 5×5 version, there is also the faster 3×3 cluster played at the Police Canteen courts in Kakamega town.
