AFCON 2025 (Group C):
Tunisia 2-0 Uganda (Half Time)
Tunisia national football team is 2 goals by the end of the first half in group C of the 2025 AFCON at the Stade Olympique De Rabat in Rabat city, Morocco.
In a rain-laden opening 45 minutes, the North Africans have been dominant from the opening whistle of FIFA Referee Patrice Mebiame from Gabon.
A header from Ellyes Joris Skhiri and a well timed finish from Mohamed Elyes Achouri give the Cathage Lions an advantage.
Skhiri headed home after an inviting corner kick by dangerman Hannibal Mejbri on ten minutes that caught the Uganda Cranes defence napping.
Achouri added the second goal in the 40th minute to double the lead.
There is still plenty of time that await the two teams in the second half with several options to give some players a breather prior to the closing 45 minutes on a slippery surface.
