Uganda Cranes had a recovery session at FUFA-Kadiba Stadium on Tuesday as they seek to bounce back from a disappointing start to the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN).
The Cranes lost 3-0 to Algeria on Monday at Mandela National Stadium and will look to make amends on Friday as they take on Guinea.
Today, the team had a recovery session as the Kadiba stadium, a facility that the Federation put in place with funding from FIFA.

Coaches Morley Byekwaso and Fred Muhumuza will be under immense pressure to deliver on Friday. The loss to Algeria exposed several weaknesses in Uganda’s team and the coaches have a few days to rectify them.
Against Guinea, the technical bench is expected to ring a few changes, especially in areas where the team didn’t do well.

In his post-match interview, Muhumuza confessed Algeria were a better side but hopes the team will improve in the subsequent matches.
“We played a team that is better than us but the players and us coaches will not frown and drop our heads. We must raise again and make ourselves count.” He said.
Uganda is in Group C that has Guinea, Algeria, Niger and South Africa.
